I was never planning to write about installing xRecovery but I had lots of questions about. The last one from Sherif Egypt in post about upgrading the Android non official way. Personally I thing, if you don’t know how to install apps different way than using the Android Market, it should be very difficult to actually do any update for you and you should thing about the upgrading once again. I know it’s tempting to get the latest Android inside the Xperia X8 but the only one reason why to do this was actually using apps for installing games to SD card. This was possible for Android 2.2 users only.
Not any more because you can use another app for moving all apps to SD card and this one work even with Android 1.6. If you have any better reason for upgrading the phone unofficial way, let me know in comment but it’s always a big risk and you should be prepared for the worst. Yes, you can brick your phone.
Anyway I won’t write another tutorial about installing xRecovery, I have something better for you. The video tutorial from youtube.
Hope you enjoyed every second and finally know how to install the xRecovery. Just one more time thing about the the whole idea of upgrading the Xperia X8 operating system. Is it really worth the trouble?
