How to add Android Widget to your home screen
This is another from my guides, this time we will talk about Widgets. There are many of Widgets for Xperia X8 some of them great some worst. I remember how confusing it was for me when I installed my first Widget downloaded from Android Market. I though it will automatically pop up on my home screen. And then I start digging in the phone. You don’t have to, here is the guide:
How to add the cool widget to the Xperia X8
First step: Check your home screen if you have enough space for the Widget. You can move some Widgets around or to another home screen to make some free space. Make sure you are on the home screen where you want to stick the Widget.
Step two: click on the Menu button, yes the left button on your Xperia X8 and select the Add button on the screen.
Step three: Now you can see the Widgets option among other icons.
Step four: Tap on the Widgets option. You will see all Widgets. Pre-installed form Sony Ericsson and any you have already installed into the Xperia X8.
Step five: Scroll through your Widgets and choose the desired one, tap on in and the Widget will appear on your home screen.
Xperia X8 can work with lots of Widgets and we all know they are great for quick using the phone. Checking the weather, Facebook or connecting the WiFi. With Widgets is always possible to save lots of time. Just make sure you don’t have tons of widgets on your home screen, especially those you don’t use. Widgets can slow your phone and that’s not what we want.
