Just go to: Settings
Tap: Mobile networks
Check: the Data traffic (un-check if you want to deactivate the GPRS).
Does the Xperia X8 got 3G video calling?

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 does not have a front facing camera.
You can use Skype, Fring or other apps for 3G calling but as the X8 does’t got the front camera, you won’t be able to do video calling.
Help please I need a fools guide to installing games & apps on the x8 from my pc. I put the files on the phone, but that dont seem to be enough! Get this I even phoned 3, who I got the phone from & they said they dont know!
Just connect the phone to computer and copy the app(s) to any folder in your SD card. Than unplug the X8 from your PC and use Astro File Manager to find it on your SD card. Tap it and confirm install.

You have get proper gprs settings for browsing. If you’re an Airtel customer you need MOBILE OFFICE setting. So try to get that from customer service.

But amazingly browser is working. I have tried with SETTINGS RESET and also FACTORY RESET. They didn’t work. I am using Aircel net(2G) in my phone. Please help me.

It looks like you definitely have internet connection. Please, check your Background data. Go to settings, select Data synchronization and check the Background data. It should be enabled to use online apps.

Download all apps to your PC first and then move it using USB cable.

Connect the X8 using USB cable to the PC. Tap on the screen mount disk and using your computer simply copy your games to the Xperia X8 SD card.

Anyway. I just took picture of my keys, and send it to my Facebook profile, Picasa and send it even as attachment in e-mail. Everything went fine. Hope to hear from you soon and sorry for my misunderstanding.

Hi I have bought new Sony Ericsson Xperia X8. I want to know whether I can use Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-503 build in with Bluetooth a2dp (Wireless headphone) can support on my mobile if not which one will work as wireless headphone.
I have the same problem as Rikki, I cannot upload any photos to any site or even send attachments in email. It appears that uploading has been disabled.
I can however send pics via sms/mms so that works ok.
Apparently there are many users with the same issue who cannot upload profile pics to MIUMeet.com website or Badoo.
This has been a major headache for me as I can’t even send my CV to apply for jobs either.

It depends of what type of video did you downloaded to your X8. If you can play those two videos from SE, you’ll be able to watch another as well. But it need to be the same format.
The following video formats are supported:
3GPP (.3gp) and MP4 (.mp4)
If you don’t have, please install MOBO player from Android market.
